Why I do this work

Many amazing people like you feel disconnected from their true mind-body-spirit health, and have concerns about their aging, environmental toxicity, fertility, and even the health of their loved ones.

And unfortunately, too many people haven't been able to get what they want from their doctors in a 15-minute visit. The healthcare system does many things right, but achieving wellness isn't one of them.

But I have time for you. And I will help you align with the regenerative properties of nature so you can heal holistically.

I was not able to get pregnant in my early 30s, and my menstrual cycles were highly irregular until I learned some important things about my body type. I had heartburn on and off for years. Ayurveda helped me end chronic heartburn, get rid of benign tumors naturally, get pregnant naturally, and have a healthy child the year I turned 40. I use this same Ayurvedic approach to help people discover their most amazing health, and to support people in preparing for conception, whether they are doing so naturally or with IVF.

I have taught thousands of people how to detoxify and rejuvenate their bodies since 2013, using Ayurveda and Yoga therapy. I am proud of my clients because they have done things like:

  • Get pregnant naturally, even after trying for some time

  • Get rid of migraines without medication

  • Reduce cholesterol without medication in a matter of weeks

  • Break down fibroid tumors, lipomas, cysts

  • Reduce blood pressure just by doing specific breathing practices

  • Get rid of GERD, acid reflux, heartburn, constipation, loose stools and other digestive issues

  • Rebalance after a miscarriage/pregnancy loss

  • Stop relying on caffeine or alcohol to feel good

  • Sleep through the night

  • Reduce stress

  • Eliminate toxins

  • Enjoy clearer skin and healthier hair

  • Release emotional suppression

  • Improve menstrual cycles and other key biomarkers of wellness

  • Know specifically which foods, herbs and lifestyle practices are suitable for their body type and health history

Some people might tell you that Ayurveda is snake oil, but it's been practiced for thousands of years, and there is an evidence base for tons of what we do!

We spend lots of time together, and I'm fun to work with :-)

What Is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is an elemental healing system that is based on ancient medicine from the Indian subcontinent. It uses diet, circadian alignment, yoga, herbal pharmacology, spices and various types of body and sensory therapies to heal disease processes. Like other ancient medicines, its elemental basis allows an individual to develop an intuitive understanding of the causes of one’s health issues and the methods by which disease may be reversed.

Ayurveda is both a lifestyle medicine and an avenue for individuals looking for deep cleansing and healing. It teaches that health is achieved when an individual has:

  • Balanced bodily humors (doshas)

  • Consistent metabolic strength (agni)

  • Properly formed tissues (dhatus)

  • Effective use of mind (manas) and senses (indriyas)

It connects the mind, body and spirit by decoding the qualities (gunas) that make up an individual person's constitutional makeup and evaluating how the doshas respond to gunas of one’s day-to-day life routines, diet, environmental factors affecting the senses as well as time.

Ayurveda has hundreds of thousands of medical practitioners today in India, where it was historically a complete medical system that even included surgery, and it has spread to be both taught and practiced worldwide. In more recent years, and outside of India, it has become more focused on offering cleansing and detoxification practices. A comprehensive group of cleansing therapies called panchakarma (pancha = five and karma = actions) is practiced worldwide, though in some regions, practitioners are limited by local laws.

Ayurvedic medicine is often practiced alongside conventional medicine for individuals undergoing treatment for other health issues.
